A 45-year-old woman from Victoria has become the first person in the Northern Territory to receive an immediate fine for refusing to wear a face mask at the Darwin International Airport.

Officers from the National Police have arrested a 30-year-old woman of Albanian nationality at Málaga airport, as allegedly responsible for a crime of document falsification, when trying to leave the country with a Norwegian passport, in someone else’s name.
In a control of entry and exit of the national territory of Spaniards and foreigners, the agents detained the woman, who was trying to board a flight to London by presenting a Norwegian passport, as reported in a statement.
Once the authentication of the data and the documentary supports had been verified, the officers proceeded to arrest her, and she was transferred to the police headquarters.

BRIDGEPORT The city is seeking an advantage in the debate over which airport Bridgeport’s Sikorsky or New Haven’s Tweed should receive state support and, more importantly, state and federal investment to expand post-coronavirus pandemic services and flights.
Mayor Joe Ganim’s administration and a pair of Sikorsky’s tenants are moving ahead with commissioning a $47,000 study of the airport’s potential by the Connecticut Center for Economic Analysis at the University of Connecticut.
